Notes on areas of application A vapour retarding effect, as required e.g. in Scandinavian (timber) construction, is achieved in combination with ASO-Unigrund-D. The sd value required in Sweden (>27 m) is reliably achieved. As such, the requisite water vapour retarding effect is achieved on a variety of substrates.

Check the substrate and determine the residual moisture content using the CM method. Remove impurities, adhesion-reducing substances and binder accumulations/laitance layers. Prime absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-GE or ASO-Unigrund-K. Prime non-absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-S. Level surface irregularities in the substrate before starting waterproofing work using a cementitious levelling compound that is suitable for the application (e.g. SOLOCRET-50 or ASOCRET-M30).

Prepare the substrate according to the substrate requirements. Apply SANIFLEX-EU using suitable tools in at least 2 application steps. The minimum dry film thickness of ≥ 0.5 mm must be guaranteed. In the case of bonded waterproofing in accordance with DIN 18534 Part 3, the application steps must be carried out in alternating colours (ochre/grey). 5. The previous coat must be completely dry before the next coat is applied. 6. Thin-bed adhesion on the tiles is provided using the polymer modified thin-bed mortars specified in the system components. 7. SANIFLEX-EU must not be exposed to water until it is totally dry. Overlaps in the joint sealing tape/pre-formed piece adhesive area require a significantly longer drying time (depending on the ambient conditions).

Technical data sheet SANIFLEX-EU Formation of intersections, movement and connecting joints Use the ASO-Dichtband 2000 - System or the ASO-Dichtband-System along with the required pre-formed pieces to form movement and connecting joints, as well to integrated intersections and assembly parts. The joint sealing tape and the pre-formed pieces are embedded in the first layer of waterproofing material and covered with the second layer. Transitions and or connections between joint sealing tapes and preformed pieces must be formed with an overlap of 50 mm. Check elements such as linear drainage systems for suitability in advance and include them in the bonded waterproofing in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Storage conditions Storage Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. At min. 5 - 40 °C for 15 months in the original canister. Promptly use opened container.
Disposal Product residues can be disposed of in accordance with disposal code AVV 08 04 10.
Emission behaviour / building certification systems Very low emissions in accordance with GEV-EMICODE, which normally results in positive evaluations within the scope of building certification systems in accordance with DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, HQE. Maximum quality level 4, lines 2, 3, 9 in accordance with DGNB criteria "ENV 1.2 Risks to the local environment".
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of SANIFLEX-EU! Polymer dispersions can only dry out if the temperature of the substrate is at least 3 °C above the dew point of the room air and air circulation is present at the same time. Therefore, an extended drying time must be planned in rooms with high humidity. If there is a risk of dropping below the dew point (condensation), dehumidifiers must be used until the waterproofing has set. Observe the technical data sheets of the products mentioned before starting work.
Relevant regulations Planning, inspection of substrates and building site circumstances, laying, grouting and subsequent care of the work must be done in accordance with the relevant DIN standards and recognised rules of technology (e.g. the ZDB sheets of the Zentralverband Deutsches Baugewerbe e.V.) in the latest version.
