Check the application substrate and determine the moisture content using the CM method. Remove impurities, adhesion-reducing substances and binder accumulations/laitance layers. Prime absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-GE, ASO-Unigrund-K or ASO-Unigrund-PLUS. Prime non-absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-S or ASO-Unigrund-PLUS.

Put the water into a clean mixing bucket and mix with the powder component with a stirrer to produce a homogeneous, lump-free mass. The mixing time is ca. 3 - 5 minutes. After a settling period of ca. 3 minutes, thoroughly homogenise the compound again. Do not mix more material than can be applied during the pot life.

Apply SOLOCRET®-60 to the primed substrate, and use a suitable tool to distribute it evenly during the pot life. SOLOCRET®-60 can be applied in one coat up to a thickness of 60 mm. Smooth after around 30 minutes if required. After approx. 60 minutes, rub the surface with a grating board if desired. After approx. 90 minutes, rabotisation can be performed with a grid rabot.
Cleaning tools Clean tools thoroughly with water after use.
Storage conditions Storage Store in a cool and dry place. For §A_PIM_Lagerungtemp_Einzel§ min. 12 months in the original container. Promptly use opened container.
Disposal Product residues can be disposed of in accordance with disposal code AVV 17 01 01.
Notes Direct contact between cement mortar and magnesite screeds leads to the destruction of the magnesite screeds through a chemical reaction known as “magnesite pouring”. Moisture pressure from the rear of the substrate must be prevented through appropriate measures. Mechanically roughen up the magnesite substrate and prime with ASODUR®-GBM epoxy resin. While the coat is still fresh, apply plenty of quartz sand with a grain size of 0.5–1.0 mm. Perform the laying work after a further waiting time of approx. 12 - 16 hours. Remove the unbound quartz sand meticulously. Border, field, building separation and movement joints should be carried over to or installed at the designated location; suitable means such as RD-SK50 edging strips should be used to detach them! Crack control joints should be cut in after the SOLOCRET®-60 has hardened to the level of up to a third of the introduced layer thickness. We recommend SOLOCRET®-60 up to a layer thickness of 10 mm for levelling mastic asphalt screeds of grade IC10 and board-shaped substrates. Do not add water or new mortar to existing SOLOCRET®-60 mortar that has already set in order to make it workable again. (Risk of inadequate strength development) Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of SOLOCRET®-60! Calcium sulphate screeds must be protected with ASO®-Unigrund-GE, ASO®-Unigrund-K, ASODUR®-GBM or ASO®-Unigrund-PLUS primers before laying. Rooms, surfaces and components that are expected to be exposed to water in accordance with DIN 18534 / 18531 / 18535 must be protected by a bonded waterproofing system.
