Preparing the surface 1. Depending on the substrate condition, the cleaners ASO-R001, ASO-R003 or ASO-R008 may be suitable (observe the current technical data sheets). 2. The substrate may be matt damp. 3. Water puddling is not permissible.
Application Application 1. In the case of surface bonding, the contact surfaces must be permeable to moisture (e.g. concrete, wood). Alternatively, apply the adhesive in parallel beads spaced apart to ensure the moisture migration (humidity) required for curing. 2. Form adhesive joints with an excess adhesive thickness of at least 2 mm. 3. Avoid 3-point adhesion for joint water proofing. Carry out the joint water proofing in accordance with DIN 18540.

Technical data sheet AQUAFIN®-CA Bonding of fresh concrete systems 1. Apply AQUAFIN®-CA copiously to the AQUAFIN®-WM12 overlap area. 2. Remove the gun cleanly and abruptly. Due to the very good bonding force, AQUAFIN-CA pulls itself out when the cartridge gun is removed. 3. The concreting process can take place no sooner than 8 hours after adhesion. 4. Press the next film into the fresh adhesive.
Adhesion of swellable waterstops 1. Apply AQUAFIN-CA fully to the substrate in the overlap area. 2. Remove the gun cleanly and abruptly. Due to the very good bonding force, AQUAFIN-CA pulls itself out when the cartridge gun is removed. 3. Press the swellable waterstops into the fresh adhesive until it is pressed out from underneath. 4. The concreting process can take place no sooner than 8 hours after adhesion.
Storage conditions Storage Cool, dry, protected from sunlight. Min. 24 months in the original canister. Promptly use opened container.
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of AQUAFIN®-CA! Not suitable for aquariums. The technical datasheets and processing instructions for the swellable waterstops and fresh concrete waterproofing membranes to be used must be observed. All information and recommendations in this technical data sheet are based on current experience, tests performed and advice given by users. Due to the high number of different influences that occur during applications and the differences between applications / building materials, it is the user's responsibility to determine whether the adhesive or the intended bonding method is suitable for the respective application by carrying out their own tests and trial bonding processes.
