Preparing the surface 1. Dense and smooth substrates must be roughened accordingly using suitable measures (e.g. sand, high-pressure, water or shot blasting). 2. A load-bearing substrate is a precondition for a long-lasting bond between the substrate and coating system. Less adhesive and bond-damaging substances must be completely removed. High-pressure water jetting (> 400 bar; < 2000 bar) and jets with fixed blasting agents are suitable measures. The last application step must be cleaning with pressure water jetting. 3. Water ingress must be stopped in advance with FIX 10-S or FIX 20-T. 4. Pre-moisten the dry substrate so that it is matt damp at the time of application. 5. The formation of puddles must be avoided.
Application Mixing Add water (From 3.75 l to 4.25 l per 25 kg) to a clean mixing bucket and mix with 25 kg of the powder component to produce a homogeneous, lump-free mass.

Technical data sheet ASOCRET-IM Application 1. ASOCRET-IM can be applied with a layer thickness of up to 10 mm per application step. 2. Structural cracks are to be prised open up to a width of approx. 20 mm and a depth of approx. 25 mm. Screen the edges with AQUAFIN®-IC and seal wet in wet with ASOCRET-IM flush with the surface. 3. Screen the substrate with AQUAFIN®-IC and then apply the ASOCRET-IM "wet in wet" with an edge height of approx. 4 cm in a rounded form. After approx. 1–3 hours, rework ASOCRET-IM with AQUAFIN®-IC. If this is not possible during this period, the surface should be roughened again after totally hardening and then coated with AQUAFIN®-IC. 4. After approx. 1–3 hours, rework ASOCRET-IM with AQUAFIN®-IC. If this is not possible during this period, the surface should be roughened again after totally hardening and then coated with AQUAFIN®-IC. 5. ASOCRET-IM must be protected against rapid water removal using suitable protective measures!
Cleaning tools Rinse tools with water immediately after use.
Storage conditions Storage Cool, dry, protected from sunlight. Min. 12 months in the original canister. Promptly use opened container.
Disposal Product residues can be disposed of in accordance with disposal code AVV 17 01 01.
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of ASOCRET-IM! Do not use on frozen substrates. ASOCRET-IM cannot be admixed as an additive to concrete or plaster, i.e. must not be admixed with such products. The reaction between ASOCRET-IM and the free lime in the concrete can result in slight efflorescence. This is not a defect and can be brushed off. Different colouring depends on the different moisture content in the concrete.
