New construction project - Wiesbadenbrücke - Germany
300 modern rental apartments with views over the water have been developed on a Wiesbadenbrücke plot on the west side of the large harbour at Wilhelmshaven. Part of the remit for the new-build was to provide secure and durable waterproofing to structural components below ground as well as to balconies. The goal was to build affordable modern living spaces with a predestined status with fair rents to counteract social segregation. The lowest energy housing project was completed in three construction phases over an area of around 50,000 square metres.
